Mrs. Philippines International Rizal 2021 Cristhel Fraulein Bulabon...a woman of substance...of compassion

"Be open and feel into the glorious realms of nature with sympathy and understanding, knowing that there are beings of the Light willing to help", once said by an anonymous philanthropist.

Analyzing or dissecting the quotation is itself what describes Mrs. Philippines International 2021 candidate, Cristhel Fraulein Bulabon, from the Province of Rizal.

True to form, this was revealed and witnessed by members of pageant media (print and online) during the Meet and Greet Presscon held on Monday, November 8, hosted by Jay Cabintoy Barbo.

During the traditional Q&A, this blogger asked Ms. Cristhel the following questions :

• What is the essence of being a mother ?

~ Christhel : "For me, the essence of being a mother is that she's a woman or person who can lead or help others who are in need especially the children. As a mother, dapat sama-sama tayo, tulong tulong tayo. It doesn't matter kung hindi man sila galing sa akin."

• Why do you believe that beauty pageants are still relevant even during the pandemic?

~ Cristhel : "Beauty pageants are still relevant even during the pandemic because these are some of the platforms that we can present our advocacies. Pandemic or not, we, women must celebrate our feminity and at the same time show our inner beauty by doing good deeds."

• Any plans of entering politics in the near future?

~ Cristhel : "I don't have any plans at the moment but am not putting a dot on it. In fact, some people are convincing me to run, but I politely turned them down."

It has been no clandestine to the most people who knew Cristhel, a successful businesswoman, that she's a single mother to 6 children.

Born in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental, she and her family migrated to Antipolo when she was barely one year old.

Prior to accomplishing her achievements, she has a share of experience on how to pass a meal with a soy sauce and oil.

Hence, her inspiration to become a philanthropist today. Her philanthropic activities have gone as far as the corners of Cagayan Valley, Ilocos Regions and the stretch of Rizal Province, down to Bicol region, particularly since the beginning of the pandemic.

In 2010, Cristhel started her advocacy called Project FOOD (Feed One: Opens a Dream), with her children through a gift-giving and a simple feeding program on a Christmas celebration.

This project has continued and is now on its 11th year and counting.

She has been collaborating with different NGOs, which include The Fraternal Orders of Eagles Philippines, a non-profit organization uniting fraternally in the spirit of liberty, truth, justice, and equality,

Single mother she is, Cristhel also has a very soft spot for all those who are silently fighting, for LGBTQIA Community and for the poor.

She is indeed a woman who could inspire across ages and genders - a woman with a huge heart for the helpless, hopeless and a voice to the voiceless.
