Suki-ya (Eat All You Can Sukiyaki & Shabu Shabu) Japanese Buffet was a big hit during its soft opening at the Lower Ground Level, Central Walk in SM City Fairview, Quezon City on Monday, November 4.




Gracing the momentous event were Ms. Bonnie Wong, chief operating officer, CreativEateries, (photo below, right) who flew in all the way from Singapore and Hiroki Jose, Operations Manager, Global Brands (left).  





Singapore-based CreativEateries and Cabalen Group of Companies, Philippines are in partnership in this new restaurant.   

Recalled Ms. Wong, "Ms. Maritel O. Nievera (founder and CEO of Cabalen Restaurant) saw one of our stores in Malaysia. Soon, we met in Singapore and we got along very well. So quickly in March I went to Manila and now we opened."

"It's a good partnership for the Cabalen. We want to diversify our portfolio," said Jose.

Suki-Ya will also open at Ayala Mall Manila Bay in Parañaque City within this month. 

These are in addition to the nineteen (19) Suki-Ya restaurants scaterred in Singapore, Malaysia and Taiwan.

This “House of Hot Pot” is designed to offer mouth-watering Japanese Shabu Shabu Buffet at affordable price of P338.00 plus VAT.  Diners can enjoy their foods for 180 minutes.  




Diners will surely enjoy unlimited, top-quality chilled beef. pork and chicken in paper-thin slices.






Highlights of Suki-Ya are its vegetable bar featuring a wide variety of fresh vegetables, a selection of sumptuous soups and broths, assorted sushi and maki rolls, choices of noodles, sauces, condiments that will surely perk up everyone’s taste buds!









Of course, a Japanese resto is not complete without an assorted of sushi and maki rolls.




To cap the diners' foodtrip are desserts composed of fresh tropical fruits (Melon, Watermelon, Pineapple and Papaya) and assorted jelly shorts.






With the help of amiable crew, first time diners will be assisted and guided on how to prepare the hot pot.  







The mass was officiated by Fr. Jan Vincent Damian of Ascension of Our Lord Parish, Lagro, Quezon City.  




Also present was 10-year old Angelica Paano who sketch Suki-Ya's mascot named Suki-San.
