Mrs. Universe Philippines - Manila 2021 CHRISTINE 'Chrizzie' ESCALANTE is a clasic example of a "multifaceted woman."

"The definition of multifaceted is someone or something with many features or perspectives to consider. A person who has many different talents in all kinds of fields and subject areas is an example of someone who would be described as multifaceted. adjective," according to yourdictionary.com.

Fondly called Chrizzie, Ms. Escalante is official candidate no. 10 representing the City of Manila in the ongoing Mrs. Universe Philippines 2021 search. 



ADVOCACY-DRIVEN 



Her advocacy is in line with Manila City Mayor Isko Moreno's many socio-civic concerns and passions.

Chrizzie said, "These are, among others, to provide  home to the homeless and to re- energize Manila's rich historical, cultural, and patrimonial heritage for the country and the world at-large to behold, cherish, and preserve for  the future generation. 

This is actualized by cleaning walls,  constructing infrastructures, beautifying the city's landscape, seascape, etc. to become one if not the best tourist destination of the country. 

To pave the way to establishing more business and job opportunities and to provide food on the table most especially for the city's marginalized  constituents. 

This is best put in her pageant slogan: "Pag may turismo , may negosyo, may trabaho, walang gutom at may kapayapaan."

With the help of City officials and private individuals, we can inspire  women to follow after our footsteps to head high  for an inclusive, brighter and prosperous future not only for Manila City, but also as blueprint for the country's dream of total and inclusive human development for all Filipinos."


A DOTING MOTHER



Despite her busy schedule, her family is her foremost priority.  

Born on a Christmas day, 33-year old Chrizzie is a  doting  single mom to three children, two girls : 9 years old and 3 years old and a 6- year old boy.  

Her ultimate Christmas wish is to be with her family and loved ones.

Like any person involved in a business or businesses, the road that Chrizzie has traveled is not an easy one. 

She has her fair share of ups and downs, and struggles but these didn't dampen her spirits. 

Instead, these are the very reasons why she strived harder.  Slowly but surely, she had survived the challenges. 

Escalante currently owns various companies where she's designated as :  

•  CEO of CusTech Contact Center Philippines - a BPO company  (from Aug. 1, 2011 - present)

•  CEO of CAE/GHVR Trading and Construction Company (from Jan. 25, 2015 - present)

•  CEO of 123 OPSTUV Laundry Shop (from Sep. 2, 2014  - present) 

•  President of Gotcha.ph  Corporation (July 21, 2014 - present)

Not to mention, she was the former owner of Oriental Provident Energy Corporation in Pila, Laguna. 


ACTIVE IN CHARITABLE UNDERTAKINGS



One of Escalante's recent outreach missions.

Chrizzie heads the League of Empowered Women (LEW), and vice-president of Wanita Filipina.  These organizations are aimed in uplifting the social and economic conditions of marginalized women in the country.

She's officially designated Lady Queen of World-Class Excellence Awards (WCEA), an international organization of like-minded professionals advocating sustainable projects for disenfranchised children, PWDs, and the elderly.


AN ASPIRING ACTRESS

Chrizzie is a part-time freelance commercial model, and an aspiring movie star, an alumna of prestigious acting workshops from ABS-CBN, and Balintataw Film and Theater Arts handled by Sydney-based tutor Mars D. Cavestany, PhD, and director George Vail Kabristante, including Ogie Diaz's Talent Center. 

Her debut film project in-progress is a re-imagination of the biopic of Filipino hero Macario Sakay. 

She'll essay the female lead to Robin Padilla, the lead actor considered by director William G. Mayo, president of Kapisanan ng mga Direktor Sa Pelikulang Pilipino (KDPP), to play the role of said hero. 


A TELEVISION PERSONALITY




Chrizzie co-hosts a lifestyle and entertainment show, "Discover and Explore" with the secretary of KDPP director Erwena Arguelles and Twinkline Wenceslao.  It is aired  over BEST TV Channel 31 and other ATC International affiliate channels every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 6:00 - 7:00 PM.

For the Talent Competition, Chrizzie showcased her dancing skills where she performed a regionall folk dance. 


ELOQUENT and an ENGAGING CONVERSATIONALIST



Chrizzie speaks from the heart and with wisdom. 

She's eloquent, has excellent communication skills and can answer any topic or subject under the sun, moon and stars, so to speak without hesitation. 



This was evident during the Zoom Meet and Greet wth 17 pageant media and bloggers on Friday afternoon, September 10.

This blogger asked Chrizzie two questions. 


1.  Celso (Blogger) :  "What do you value most in life ?"

Chrizzie :  "Family that I value most in life."

2.  Celso (Blogger) :  "What is your message to people who think negatively  about beauty pageants? "

Chrizzie :  "I would show them the positive side of the pageant ry so if they can see the positive side then it would change their minds to be positive."

 

The attendees were in unison that Chrizzie is one of the 18 candidates that will perform well in the Q&A come finals night. 


BEST IN MODERN FILIPINIANA WINNER 



The ensemble was created by Lanny Liwag.  HMUA by Richard Daroy Traje.  

Last July, Chrizzie was hailed as Best in Modern Filipiana during the World Council Excellence Awards event held in Maidas Hotel, Pasay Cìty.  



MRS. UNIVERSE PHILIPPINES 2021 PAGEANT 



The Grand Coronation Night is set to be staged at Okada Manila on October 9. 

Chrizzie is aiming one of the three titles at stake : Mrs. Universe Philippines 2021, Mrs. Pacific Continental 2021 and Mrs. North Pacific Asia 2021.  The winners will compete in South Korea on Nov. 27. 

Three subsidiary titles will also be awarded, namely, Mrs. Luzon 2021, Mrs. Visayas 2021 and Mrs. Mindanao 2021.  Two runners-up will also be named. 



The Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Pageant is organized by founder and National Director, Mrs. Universe Philippines 2019 Maria Charo Calalo.
