Newly-crowned Mrs. Tourism World 2021 CATHERINE MACASINAG-YOGI received a Plaque of Recognition from Bustos, Bulacan Honorable Mayor Francis Albert 'Iskul' Juan during her courtesy call in his Municipal Office on Monday, September 20. 

Honorable Mayor Iskul said, 

"SA BUSTOS, ‘DI LANG PASYALAN ANG MAGANDA, KUN’DI MAGING ANG MGA BUSTOSENYA!

Binigyan po natin ng pagkilala si Catherine Macasinag-Yogi, isang Bustosenya ng Brgy. Liciada, Bustos, Bulacan sa kanyang pagkakakamit ng titulong MRS. TOURISM WORLD noong Ikatlo ng Agosto 2021.

After meeting with Mayor Iskul, Catherine had photoshoots under the lens of Prince Vio II outside the Municipal Building with Letras y Figuras de Bustos and a replica of an ancestral house as the backdrop; at Bustos Heritage Park and Bulacan Military Area WW II Heroes Monument.

Catherine was accompanied by the founder and owner of Mrs. Tourism Pageant, OVETTE RICALDE, popularly known as 'Mother of All Pageants' and the production team of Megastar Productions.

Catherine, representing Philippines -Japan, was named Mrs. Tourism World 2021 during the finals held virtually on August 3.




She also bagged four Special Awards as follows :

•  Mrs. Tourism YouTube Social Media Queen 


• One of the Five Most Supportive Candidates (along with delegates from Namibia, Ecuador, Mauritius and Philippines)


ARRIVAL IN THE PHILIPPINES

On September 9, Catherine arrived from Japan where she resides with her Japanese husband and four children. 



After the 10-day mandatory hotel quarantine, she finally met Mother Ovette last Sunday, Sep. 19.

Catherine's formal crowning ceremony will be held on Thursday, September 23. 


CONGRATULATORY TARPAULINs

Catherine traces her roots from Baler, Aurora where her parents are from.

She was ecstatic upon seeing the Congratulatory tarpaulins hanged in the streets in Barangay Liciada in Bustos, Bulacan where she grew up. 

Catherine exclaimed, "Isang taos pusong pasasalamat sa aking ipinagkakapuring barangay na aking pinagmulan, ang magiting na bayan ng Bustos sa lalawigan ng Bulacan, tunay nga na ikinararangal ko na ako ay isang Bustosenya.. Bulakenya..

Thank you so much to the staff of Mrs. Tourism Pageant for the appreciation and support by providing Congratulatory tarpaulins and hanged in my beloved hometown!"




IMPRESSIVE CREDENTIALS

Aside from being a certified Aesthetician and Beauty Consultant, Catherine is also the CEO of two companies : Cathy  Salon and a ticketing agency. 

On the side, she's a commercial model. 


Catherine is also an active member of a group that helps in repatriating Filipinos in distress and detained in Japan.


NOT A NEWBIE

Catherine is no stranger to pageants.  

Before the pandemic, she won not one but two crowns :  Mrs. Filipina Queen Expo 2019 and Mrs. Ambassador 2019.

THE MRS. TOURISM PAGEANT


With a tagline, "A Mother Who Cares for the World," the Mrs. Tourism Pageant was established by Ricalde in 2017.  

It was staged in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan in 2017, Dapitan City and Dipolog City, Zamboanga del Norte in 2018; Pasig City in 2019 and Parañaque City in 2020.

Star City , the country's biggest air conditioned, all weather theme park reopens its doors to the public on January 14, 2022.  Rebuilt with rides and attractions for all age groups, and providing moderate to extreme thrills for people of all walks of life, the park soft opening  kickstarts its move to regain a solid reputation built o seever three decades as a world-class recreational complex where the public can derive maximum enjoyment from stimulating array of indoor and outdoor attractions again and again.
