Philippine bet Hemilyn Escudero-Tamayo wins Mrs. Tourism Universe 2021

Philippine bet Hemilyn Escudero-Tamayo won the coveted title and crown, Mrs. Tourism Universe 2021, during the Virtual Finals of the 4th Mrs. Tourism Pageant on Tuesday, August  3.

Hemilyn also reaped six Special Awards, namely : 

•  Best in Talent



•  Best in National Costume 


(Hemilyn's national costume is a collaboration of Chico Estiva, Manny Halasan and the late Bea Bianca Mackey.)

•  Facebook Most Viewed Mother 



•  YouTube Most Viewed Mother



•  One of the Five Most Supportive Candidates   



A classic example of an accomplished and empowered woman / mother

Hemilyn has an impressive bio-data : a certified beauty queen who had competed in various national and international pageants; an artist, entrepreneur, image consultant, investor and a pageant producer to mention a few.

She studied Art at the very prestigious Yale University in Connecticut, USA a couple of years ago just in time before the pandemic has reached out shores. 

Most of her works were featured in major painting exhibits in the metropolis and received positive feedbacks from art patrons. 

She is also an incumbent officer of United Women's Artist Association of the Philippines (UWAAP) headed by artist Menchu VB Arandilla. 

A wife of an Air Force Reservist Officer and a doting mother of two boys, Hemilyn is also an Air Force Reservist under the AFP Reserve Command.

She's the daughter of former Mayor Dr. Oscar Escudero of Sorsogon and a relative of former senator and political icon Chiz Escudero. 

Hemilyn is a product of the Fashion Image Institute in San Francisco, California and is now taking up her Master of Science in Psychology Major in Developmental Psychology at the University of Perpetual Help System Laguna and her MA/PhD in Organizational Development.

The Mrs. Tourism Pageant

With a tagline "A Mother Who Cares for the World," the Mrs. Tourism Pageant was established in 2017 by Megastar Productions headed by its Owner and CEO Ovette Ricalde a.k.a. "The Mother of All Pageants."

The 2020 Mrs. Tourism Pageant was cancelled because of global lockdowns and border restrictions duing  the height of COVID-19 pandemic.
