La Luna Café, Taguig Hosts Miss World Philippines Top Contender - Emmanuelle Vera

   La Luna Café hosts another Taguig Designers Council's (TDC) intimate media event last July 3 for 26-year-old stunner, Emmanuelle 'Emman' Vera representing Taguig City in the omgoing Miss World Philippines 2021.

  Set in a rustic, very Filipino "bahay na bato"with very wide outdoor space, La Luna Café headed by its Manager Angel M. Comia, is a perfect setting for a very intimate day celebrating the artistry of Taguig’s local creatives and crafts people of Taguig Designers Council.

   The event gifted us with the presence of singer, songwriter, actress and Miss World Philippines top contender, Emman Vera. 

   As a proud Taguigeña, she shares her gratitude to be a part of TDC’s event, recognizing the designers as the heart and soul of pageantry. 

   She is ecstatic to represent the "Probinsyudad of Taguig" as she competes for the Miss World Philippines title for the first time.

   “Our probinsyudad has strived to preserve and incorporate nature amid its urban jungles and business district. It has balanced advancement with preservation, and is both bustling and laid back. The local government also genuinely cares for the welfare of every individual, which is something I experienced when I contracted COVID-19. The health center consistently called to check up on me, and sent food and vitamins.” says the 26 year old Taguigeña. 

   “One of my favorite parts however is its commitment to sustainability and countless eco-friendly initiatives,” she adds.

   As an artist, music has been integral to her and has played a big role in sharing to the world what she’s passionate about. 

   “Growing up with music, I’ve never been able to imagine myself doing anything else, and (as a young girl, I) would envision myself becoming a child recording artist and entertainer!”

   Music has also been a medium to bring more light and hope to the lives of children who have been abused and exploited. She hopes that through the art of music, these kids can be inspired and make their dreams come to a reality. Choosing to join Miss World Philippines is a way to elevate her platform to bring more awareness to issues that truly matter.

   This is the second time La Luna Café hosted a similar event giving ample exposure for the local designers who has been trying to rise above their recent challenges due to the pandemic and has been made possible through the efforts of Taguig Congresswoman Lani along side Councilor Pammy Zamora.

   Also present in the event to give their full support to Emman were her parents and friends.....

STAR CITY TO REOPEN ON JANUARY 14

Star City , the country's biggest air conditioned, all weather theme park reopens its doors to the public on January 14, 2022.  Rebuilt with rides and attractions for all age groups, and providing moderate to extreme thrills for people of all walks of life, the park soft opening  kickstarts its move to regain a solid reputation built o seever three decades as a world-class recreational complex where the public can derive maximum enjoyment from stimulating array of indoor and outdoor attractions again and again.
