Vianca Louise Marcelo aspires for a Bb. Pilipinas crown

   VIANCA LOUISE RIVERA MARCELO, binibini no. 12 representing Bocaue, Bulacan, is pretty much ready and confident to shine on stage during the Bb. Pilipinas 2021 Grand Coronation Night come April 17 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

   "During our break for almost a year because of the pandemic, I was not a 'couch potato' so to speak. To hone my knowledge in current national and foreign issues, I read and watched news online.  I also had a video marathon of Bb. Pilipinas Pageant from 2011 to 2019 editions to get pointers and tips. Not to mention, daily exercise to keep myself fit and healthy," shared Vianca Louise during the Meet & Greet with some members of tri-media last Saturday, Feb. 6 held at Relish, Hello Happiness, Sct. Limbaga, Tomas Morato, Quezon City.

   "Along with my family, we conducted outreach missions in our community" added Vianca Louise whose advocacy is 'Rise Above Hunger.' 

   The pandemic has taught her to value what we have in life specially our family. 

   "I learned how to live life to the fullest and meaningfully because time is limitless but in a blink of an eye, it becomes limited," said Vianca Louise. 

   When asked what title and crown is she aiming for, "Bb. Pilipinas-International," replied Vianca Louise without batting an eyelash. 

  She looks up to Miss International 2016 winner Kylie Versoza whom she describes as "super sexy, super beautiful, intelligent and still the same Kylie Versoza even she's an actress already." 

   Vianca Louise, 26, an assistant business manager, believes that her batchmates are preparing their very best for the search but at the end of the day, herself is her biggest competition. 

   She will go for a physical pageant because "live audience boosts one's morale and it is more exciting."

  A graduate of Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Institutional Management at Dela Salle University - College of Saint Benilde,  Vianca Louise revealed that she has no boyfriend and her family will be her Valentine's date on Sunday, Feb. 14. ❤

   For the national costume competition, she will wear a mystical sarimanok-inspired costume that is depicted as a fowl with colorful wings and tail, and holding a fish on its beak that symbolizes good fortune for everyone who sees it. 

   The magnificent yellow modern Filipiniana gown represents the color of hope and joy amidst the crisis that the world is facing now.

   The ensemble is embellished with jeweled sarimanok patches on the bodice of the gown adorned from the famous and unique embroidery technique in Bocaue, Bulacan called 'Kadineta,' considered an art and world-class craftsmanship that has been passed on through generations.

   The unique cultural creation by Paolo Blanco fuses artistry from Luzon (Kadineta embroidery and Filipiniana terno) and Mindanao (sarimanok headpiece).

   Armed with pageant experiences, Vianca.Louise also joined Miss World Philippines in 2015 where she was adjudged as one of the Top 13 finalists and the recipent of Best in Talent Award.

   She represented the Singkaban Festival of Malolos, Bulacan in the Reyna ng Aliwan Fiesta 2015 where she finished second runner-up along with Gazini Ganados (later crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2019) of Cebu’s Sinulog Festival, and Jaymie Lou Pagulayan of Isabela’s Bambanti Festival.

   Viamca Louise was crowned winner as Miss Silka Philippines 2011 and Reyna ng Bulakan 2014.

  The world of pageantry runs in the family,  she's the sister of Global Asian Model 2019 third runner-up Vince Leonard Marcelo.

STAR CITY TO REOPEN ON JANUARY 14

Star City , the country's biggest air conditioned, all weather theme park reopens its doors to the public on January 14, 2022.  Rebuilt with rides and attractions for all age groups, and providing moderate to extreme thrills for people of all walks of life, the park soft opening  kickstarts its move to regain a solid reputation built o seever three decades as a world-class recreational complex where the public can derive maximum enjoyment from stimulating array of indoor and outdoor attractions again and again.
