Queen of Hearts Foundation, Inc.'s 1st Mission for 2021

Reported by Celso De Guzman Caparas      Queen of Hearts Foundation, Inc. spearheaded by its Founder and CEO Mitzie Go-Gil carried out today, Jan. 23, its first outreach mission for Year 2021.     The mission was undertaken by the QOHFI's Queens in collaboration with the Women Global Change group headed by Architect Lovanne Lubaton Gallo.   The group distributed charitable assistance to the DUMAGAT TRIBE residing in Upper Marikina Basin Protective Landscape on the mountains of Antipolo City.      The Foundation and the Women Global Change Group intend to put up a Community Learning Center in this Dumagat community for a livelihood program to support the community’s needs in the near future.    Care packages were distributed during the visit.    A Queen of Hearts Care Package contains :  1 . Senator Villanueva seeks more empowerment, education to curb domestic abuse    Senator Joel Villanueva has sought for increased education and awareness on the various protection mechanisms the country's laws affords victims of domestic abuse, after hearing the plight of seven women suffering various kinds of maltreatment committed by their partners.   Villanueva took to social media his condemnation of the domestic abuse experienced by the contestants, who bravely recounted the horrors they experienced at the hands of their partners on Saturday’s Bawal Judgmental segment of the long-running noontime show Eat Bulaga.    “Nakakadurog po ng puso ang mga kwentong narinig natin. Senator Villanueva joins Eat! Bulaga! as guest judge in popular ‘Bawal Judgmental’ segment Senator Joel Villanueva is the guest judge on the popular segment, 'Bawal Judgmental' of the longest-running noontime show Eat! Bulaga on Saturday, January 9. “Isang karangalan po ang ma-imbitahan ng Eat! Bulaga sa kanilang Bawal Judgmental segment.
